Engineering Critical Infrastructure
Eng. Said Al Hosni is a data center and critical infrastructure professional with extensive hands-on experience across the complete lifecycle of mission-critical facilities, from early planning and design through construction, commissioning, operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
Based in the Sultanate of Oman, his career combines a strong Information Technology background with practical expertise in modern data center infrastructure. His work spans the multidisciplinary systems that determine data center availability and resilience, including medium- and low-voltage power distribution, transformers, generators, UPS and battery systems, cooling infrastructure, fire and life-safety systems, physical security, BMS/DCIM, monitoring, and operational controls.
Rather than viewing these systems independently, Said focuses on how they operate together as a complete critical infrastructure environment, particularly under equipment failure, maintenance, utility interruption, emergency conditions, and other real-world operating scenarios.
